Philippians 2:6

6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,[1] (Joh 1:1; Joh 5:18; Joh 10:33; Joh 14:28; 2Co 4:4)

New International Version

6 who, being in very nature[1] God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

6 In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact.
