Philippians 2:16

English Standard Version

16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. (Ac 5:20; 1Co 1:8; 2Co 1:14; Ga 2:2; Ga 4:11; 1Th 3:5) 

New International Version

16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labour in vain. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 You will shine as you hold on tight to the word of life. Then I will be able to boast about you on the day Christ returns. I can be happy that I didn’t run or work for nothing. 

King James Version

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
