8 Will I not on that day, declares the Lord, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of Mount Esau? (Isa 29:14; Eze 35:2) 

New International Version

8 ‘In that day,’ declares the Lord, ‘will I not destroy the wise men of Edom, those of understanding in the mountains of Esau? 

New International Reader’s Version

8 Here is what the LORD announces. ‘At that time I will destroy the wise men of Edom. I will wipe out the men of understanding in the mountains of Esau.
