30 However, if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.” 

New International Version

30 But if they do not cross over with you armed, they must accept their possession with you in Canaan.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

30 But what if they don’t get ready for battle? What if they don’t go across the Jordan with you? Then they must accept a share with you in Canaan.’
