14 And behold, you have risen in your fathers’ place, a brood of sinful men, to increase still more the fierce anger of the Lord against Israel!

14 ‘And here you are, a brood of sinners, standing in the place of your fathers and making the Lord even more angry with Israel.

14 ‘Now here you are, you bunch of sinners! You have taken the place of your fathers. And you are making the LORD even angrier with Israel.
