Numbers 15:28

English Standard Version

28 And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven. (Le 4:35) 

New International Version

28 The priest is to make atonement before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven. 

New International Reader’s Version

28 With it the priest will pay for the person’s sin in front of the LORD. The priest will do it for the one who did wrong by sinning without meaning to. When the sin is paid for, that person will be forgiven. 

King James Version

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
