24 That place was called the Valley of Eshcol,[1] because of the cluster that the people of Israel cut down from there. 

New International Version

24 That place was called the Valley of Eshkol because of the cluster of grapes the Israelites cut off there. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 That place was called the Valley of Eshkol. That’s because the men of Israel cut off a bunch of grapes there. 

King James Version

24 The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
