Nehemiah 9:3

English Standard Version

3 And they stood up in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day; for another quarter of it they made confession and worshiped the Lord their God. (Ne 8:7) 

New International Version

3 They stood where they were and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day, and spent another quarter in confession and in worshipping the Lord their God. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 They stood where they were. They listened while the Levites read parts of the Book of the Law of the LORD their God. They listened for a quarter of the day. They spent another quarter of the day admitting their sins. They also worshipped the LORD their God. 

King James Version

3 And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.
