Nehemiah 8:6

English Standard Version

6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people answered, “Amen, Amen,” lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground. (2Ch 20:18; Ne 5:13; Ps 134:2; La 3:41; 1Ti 2:8) 

New International Version

6 Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, ‘Amen! Amen!’ Then they bowed down and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Ezra praised the LORD. He is the great God. All the people lifted up their hands and said, ‘Amen! Amen!’ Then they bowed down. They turned their faces towards the ground and worshipped the LORD. 

King James Version

6 And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
