Nehemiah 4:1

English Standard Version

1 [1] Now when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and greatly enraged, and he jeered at the Jews. (Ne 2:10; Ne 2:19; Ne 4:7) 

New International Version

1 [1] When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall. So he became very angry and upset. He made fun of the Jews. 

King James Version

1 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
