Nehemiah 3:13

English Standard Version

13 Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the Valley Gate. They rebuilt it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and repaired a thousand cubits[1] of the wall, as far as the Dung Gate. (2Ch 26:9; Ne 2:13; Ne 2:15; Ne 3:1; Ne 12:31)

13 The Valley Gate was repaired by Hanun and the residents of Zanoah. They rebuilt it and put its doors with their bolts and bars in place. They also repaired a thousand cubits[1] of the wall as far as the Dung Gate.

New International Reader’s Version

13 Hanun repaired the Valley Gate. Some people who lived in Zanoah helped him. They rebuilt it. They put in place its doors with their metal bolts and bars. They also repaired 500 metres of the wall. They repaired it all the way to the Dung Gate.

King James Version

13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
