Nehemiah 2:18

English Standard Version

18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work. (2Sa 2:7; Ne 2:8) 

New International Version

18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, ‘Let us start rebuilding.’ So they began this good work. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 I also told them how my gracious God was helping me. And I told them what the king had said to me. They replied, ‘Let’s start rebuilding.’ So they began that good work. 

King James Version

18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king' words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work .
