Nehemiah 13:11

English Standard Version

11 So I confronted the officials and said, “Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations. (Ne 10:39; Ne 13:17; Ne 13:25) 

New International Version

11 So I rebuked the officials and asked them, ‘Why is the house of God neglected?’ Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 I gave a warning to the officials. I asked them, ‘Why aren’t you taking care of God’s house?’ Then I brought the Levites and musicians together. I stationed them in their proper places. I put them back to work. 

King James Version

11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.
