Nehemiah 11:24

English Standard Version

24 And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s side[1] in all matters concerning the people. 

New International Version

24 Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, one of the descendants of Zerah son of Judah, was the king’s agent in all affairs relating to the people. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 Pethahiah worked for the king in all matters that were connected with the people. He was the son of Meshezabel. Meshezabel belonged to the family line of Zerah. Zerah was the son of Judah. 

King James Version

24 And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king' hand in all matters concerning the people.
