Micah 1:8

English Standard Version

8 For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make lamentation like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches. (Job 30:29; Ps 44:19; Isa 13:21; Isa 20:2; Isa 22:4) 

New International Version

8 Because of this I will weep and wail; I will go about barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal and moan like an owl. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 I will weep and mourn because Samaria will be destroyed. I’ll walk around barefoot and naked. I’ll bark like a wild dog. I’ll hoot like an owl. 

King James Version

8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
