16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him,[1] and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; (Lu 4:18; Lu 4:21; Joh 1:32; Ac 7:56; Ac 10:38) 

New International Version

16 As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 As soon as Jesus was baptised, he came up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened. Jesus saw the Spirit of God coming down on him like a dove. 

King James Version

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
