46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Ps22:1; Heb5:7)

46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, [1] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[2]
