46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Ps 22:1; Heb 5:7)

46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli,[1] lema sabachthani?’ (which means ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’). (Ps 22:1)
