46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Ps 22:1; Heb 5:7) 

New International Version

46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli,[1] lema sabachthani?’ (which means ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’). (Ps 22:1) 

New International Reader’s Version

46 About three o’clock, Jesus cried out in a loud voice. He said, ‘Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?’ This means ‘My God, my God, why have you deserted me?’ (Ps 22:1) 

King James Version

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
