English Standard Version

22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. (Isa 65:8; Mt 22:14; Mt 24:24; Mt 24:31; Lu 18:7) 

New International Version

22 ‘If those days had not been cut short, no-one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 ‘If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened. 

King James Version

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
