3 and sent his servants[1] to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come. (Es 6:14; Pr 9:3; Pr 9:5) 

New International Version

3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 He sent his slaves to those who had been invited to the dinner. The slaves told them to come. But they refused. 

King James Version

3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
