16 and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?” (Ps 8:2; Mt 11:25; Mt 12:3; Mt 12:5; Mt 19:4; Mt 21:42; Mt 22:31)

16 ‘Do you hear what these children are saying?’ they asked him. ‘Yes,’ replied Jesus, ‘have you never read, ‘ “From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise”[1]?’ (Ps 8:2)

16 ‘Do you hear what these children are saying?’ they asked him. ‘Yes’, replied Jesus. ‘Haven’t you ever read about it in Scripture? It says, ‘ “Lord, you have made sure that children and infants praise you.” ’ (Ps 8:2) 

King James Version

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
