Matthew 20:21

English Standard Version

21 And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.” (Mt 16:28; Mt 19:28; Mt 25:31; Mt 25:34; Lu 23:42) 

New International Version

21 ‘What is it you want?’ he asked. She said, ‘Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

21 ‘What do you want?’ Jesus asked. She said, ‘Promise me that one of my two sons may sit at your right hand in your kingdom. Promise that the other one may sit at your left hand.’ 

King James Version

21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
