34 And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers,[1] until he should pay all his debt. (Mt 5:25; Mt 18:30; Jas 2:13) 

New International Version

34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. 

New International Reader’s Version

34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers. He would be punished until he paid back everything he owed. 

King James Version

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
