5 He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son,[1] with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” (Ex 24:15; Mt 3:17; Ac 3:22; 2Pe 1:17) 

New International Version

5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!’ 

New International Reader’s Version

5 While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, and I love him. I am very pleased with him. Listen to him!’ 

King James Version

5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
