English Standard Version

14 Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” (Isa 6:9; Joh 12:40; Ac 28:26) 

New International Version

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘ “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

14 In them the words of the prophet Isaiah come true. He said, ‘ “You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.
