5 Or have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? (Nu 28:9; 1Ch 9:32; Joh 7:22) 

New International Version

5 Or haven’t you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Haven’t you read the Law? It tells how every Sabbath day the priests in the temple have to do their work on that day. But they are not considered guilty.

5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
