10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him. (Mt 12:2; Lu 11:54; Lu 14:3; Lu 20:20; Joh 8:6) 

New International Version

10 and a man with a shrivelled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, ‘Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

10 A man with a weak and twisted hand was there. The Pharisees were trying to accuse Jesus of a crime. So they asked him, ‘Does the Law allow us to heal on the Sabbath day?’ 

King James Version

10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
