Matthew 11:5

English Standard Version

5 the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers[1] are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. (Mt 5:3; Lu 4:18; Lu 7:22; Jas 2:5) 

New International Version

5 the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy[1] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Blind people receive sight. Disabled people walk. Those who have skin diseases are made “clean”. Deaf people hear. Those who are dead are raised to life. And the good news is preached to those who are poor. 

King James Version

5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
