5 These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans, (2Ki 17:24; Ezr 4:10; Mt 10:1; Lu 9:52; Lu 10:33; Lu 17:16; Joh 4:9; Joh 4:39; Joh 8:48; Ac 1:8; Ac 8:25)

5 These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: ‘Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Jesus sent these 12 out with the following orders. ‘Do not go among the Gentiles,’ he said. ‘Do not enter any town of the Samaritans.
