22 For when Herodias’s daughter came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests. And the king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you wish, and I will give it to you.” 

New International Version

22 When the daughter of[1] Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl, ‘Ask me for anything you want, and I’ll give it to you.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

22 Then the daughter of Herodias came in and danced. She pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl, ‘Ask me for anything you want. I’ll give it to you.’ 

King James Version

22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
