2 And when Jesus[1] had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. 

New International Version

2 When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Jesus got out of the boat. A man controlled by an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him.
