English Standard Version

7 Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. (Jer 4:3) 

New International Version

7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Other seed fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and crowded out the plants. So the plants did not bear corn. 

King James Version

7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
