9 And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, (Mr 5:24; Mr 5:31; Mr 6:32; Mr 6:45; Mr 8:10) 

New International Version

9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 Because of the crowd, Jesus told his disciples to get a small boat ready for him. This would keep the people from crowding him. 

King James Version

9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
