2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,[1] “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way, (Mal 3:1; Mt 3:1; Mt 11:10; Lu 1:17; Lu 1:76; Lu 3:2; Lu 7:27) 

New International Version

2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way’ – (Mal 3:1)
