40 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him. (Mr 9:6; Lu 9:32; Lu 9:33) 

New International Version

40 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. They did not know what to say to him. 

New International Reader’s Version

40 Then he came back. Again he found them sleeping. They couldn’t keep their eyes open. They did not know what to say to him. 

King James Version

40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
