22 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will do signs and miracles. They will try to fool God’s chosen people if possible. 

King James Version

22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
