38 And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.” (Isa 61:1) 

New International Version

38 Jesus replied, ‘Let us go somewhere else – to the nearby villages – so that I can preach there also. That is why I have come.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

38 Jesus replied, ‘Let’s go somewhere else. I want to go to the nearby towns. I must preach there also. That is why I have come.’
