35 And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. (Mt 14:23; Lu 4:42; Lu 5:16) 

New International Version

35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 

New International Reader’s Version

35 It was very early in the morning and still dark. Jesus got up and left the house. He went to a place where he could be alone. There he prayed. 

King James Version

35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
