13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him. (1Ch 21:1; Mt 26:53; Mr 1:12; Lu 22:43; Heb 2:18; Heb 4:15) 

New International Version

13 and he was in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted[1] by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 He was in the desert 40 days. There Satan tempted him. The wild animals didn’t harm Jesus. Angels took care of him. 

King James Version

13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
