8 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. (Ne 13:10; Mal 3:7) 

New International Version

8 ‘Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. ‘But you ask, “How are we robbing you?” ‘In tithes and offerings. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 ‘Will a mere human being dare to steal from God? But you rob me! ‘You ask, “How are we robbing you?” ‘By holding back your offerings. You also steal from me when you do not bring me a tenth of everything you produce.
