3 but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

3 instead of Esau. I have turned Esau’s hill country into a dry and empty land. I left that land of Edom to the wild dogs in the desert.’ 

King James Version

3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
