10 he said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ (Isa 6:9; Mt 11:25; Mt 13:13; Mt 19:11; Ro 16:25; 1Co 2:6; Col 1:27; 1Jo 2:20; 1Jo 2:27) 

New International Version

10 He said, ‘The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘ “though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.” (Isa 6:9) 

New International Reader’s Version

10 He said, ‘You have been given the chance to understand the secrets of God’s kingdom. But to outsiders I speak by using stories. In that way, ‘ “They see, but they will not know what they are seeing. They hear, but they will not understand what they are hearing.” (Isa 6:9) 

King James Version

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
