49 While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler’s house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.” (Lu 7:6; Lu 8:41; Joh 11:28) 

New International Version

49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. ‘Your daughter is dead,’ he said. ‘Don’t bother the teacher anymore.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus. Jairus was the synagogue leader. ‘Your daughter is dead,’ the messenger said. ‘Don’t bother the teacher anymore.’ 

King James Version

49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
