English Standard Version

39 “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. (Ps 66:16; Lu 5:14) 

New International Version

39 ‘Return home and tell how much God has done for you.’ So the man went away and told all over the town how much Jesus had done for him. 

New International Reader’s Version

39 ‘Return home and tell how much God has done for you.’ So the man went away. He told people all over town how much Jesus had done for him. 

King James Version

39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
