Luke 8:24

24 And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. (Ps 65:7; Ps 104:7; Mt 14:32; Mr 6:51; Lu 4:39)

New International Version

24 The disciples went and woke him, saying, ‘Master, Master, we’re going to drown!’ He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.

New International Reader’s Version

24 The disciples went and woke Jesus up. They said, ‘Master! Master! We’re going to drown!’ He got up and ordered the wind and the huge waves to stop. The storm quietened down. It was completely calm.

King James Version

24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
