Luke 7:29

29 (When all the people heard this, and the tax collectors too, they declared God just,[1] having been baptized with the baptism of John, (Mt 21:32; Lu 3:12; Lu 20:6; Ac 18:25; Ac 19:3)

New International Version

29 (All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus’ words, acknowledged that God’s way was right, because they had been baptised by John.

New International Reader’s Version

29 All the people who heard Jesus’ words agreed that God’s way was right. Even the tax collectors agreed. These people had all been baptised by John.

King James Version

29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
