32 the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Sala, the son of Nahshon, (Ru 4:18; 1Sa 16:1; 1Sa 17:12; 1Ch 2:1) 

New International Version

32 the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon,[1] the son of Nahshon, 

New International Reader’s Version

32 David was the son of Jesse. Jesse was the son of Obed. Obed was the son of Boaz. Boaz was the son of Salmon. Salmon was the son of Nahshon.
