35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread. (Lu 24:30; Ac 2:42) 

New International Version

35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognised by them when he broke the bread. 

New International Reader’s Version

35 Then the two of them told what had happened to them on the way. They told how they had recognised Jesus when he broke the bread. 

King James Version

35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
