44 And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.[1] (Lu 22:42)

44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

44 Because he was very sad and troubled, he prayed even harder. His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
