Luke 17:8

8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly,[1] and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? (Lu 12:35; Lu 12:37; Joh 13:4)

8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’?

8 No. Instead, you would say, ‘Prepare my supper. Get yourself ready. Wait on me while I eat and drink. Then after that you can eat and drink.’

8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
